Abstract
|
|
|
Penile fracture is an uncommon injury resulting from a direct blow to the erect penis. Urethral rupture during coitus is even more uncommon. In reverse coitus, the male urethra is more vulnerable to injury from the pubic arch and symphysis pubis
of
the
female partner. The authors describe 1 case of urethral rupture only and 1 case of corpus cavernosa-urethral shunt during sexual coitus. The patients responded well to conservative management and have no problems with micturition. Potency has
been
well
preserved in both patients.
